Metropolitan Technologies and The Watchful i Offer Schools a Total Security Package

Metropolitan Technologies and The Watchful i have announced a working relationship that will bring full-service Security Services to the national K-12 community.

The Watchful i, a student safety technology company based in Matawan NJ and recently endorsed by the NJASA (New Jersey Association of School Administrators), has developed a web-based Crisis Management System, which contains Internet and Telephone reporting of critical issues to school administrators, and an informed assessment module and an Emergency Telephone Notification system as a software package to assist schools with school security.

By combining the capability of The Watchful i Crisis Management System with the Security and Technology Consulting capabilities of Metropolitan Technologies, the mutual objective of providing a school full-service Security Consulting from beginning to end is realized. Metropolitan Technologies will provide a TVA (threat & vulnerability assessment) at a school site and, in so doing, provide the client with better use and deployment of The Watchful i Crisis Management System. This will also combine the strengths of both firms when remedial security engineering is needed to repel any threats. In addition, Metropolitan Technologies will develop the CAD drawings (certified floor plans) for the client sites where The Watchful i is deployed. The Watchful i will provide web-based access to these drawings in the event of an incident so local law enforcement can have real-time information available to aid their efforts.

Student Safety and School Security have a common goal: the security and well being of children. They are now combined through the efforts of The Watchful i and Metropolitan Technologies.
